Growing Your Human Spiritual Powers By Hugging Trees?
Want to grow your human spiritual powers? Well… how spiritually evolved are you? Are you still trying to find and connect with your own inner spiritual powers?
Exactly what this inner power IS could be debated as it cannot be perceived through our 5 physical senses.
And although it's an intangible, there's no denying it's existence.
Even from a purely scientific perspective.
In fact, the famoust physicist Max Planck once said that, “All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force… We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.”
That's a rather scientific explanation but I like to think of it as the spark of divinity within, or my higher intuitive self.
It’s the part of you that is inseperable to Source energy (or whatever label you choose), and that part of you which is the real you.
In other words, it’s the ESSENCE of who you are on a spiritual level; the core of your being… pure love.
Sadly, many people today are cut off from their inner selves. We live in a society where rational thinking predominates everything, even if that means using our intelligence to justify our right to be miserable, or angry.
You may be familiar with ongoing sensations of emptiness, disconnection, disempowerment, and loneliness – no matter how many people surround you each day.
Compare this with the way spiritually balanced people feel, and you’ll quickly see the benefits of awakening to your own inner power. Spiritually conscious people are:
• Centered and balanced.
• Guided and connected.
• Confident and courageous.
• Sensitive and intuitive.
• Empathetic and compassionate.
• Focused and productive.
• In tune with their life purpose.
• Peaceful and serene.
Sounds great, doesn’t it? Would you like to know how to awaken these qualities within yourself? It’s easier than you think!
Here are some simple ways to start:
1) Meditation. This is a no-brainer, but it’s one of the best ways to connect with your spiritual self. Meditation does not have to be a complex process – in fact, the simpler the better! The key is that it must be done regularly, preferably once or twice daily. Simply set aside 10-20 minutes to sit quietly, close your eyes, breathe deeply and slowly, and turn your attention inward. Let go of your mental chatter and just focus on the silence and peace deep within you. Detach from your outer world concerns and just BE.
You may not notice a boost in spiritual power the first few times you do this, but the longer you can stick with a meditation routine, the more impressive your results are going to be. In a matter of weeks you should be feeling much more centered and calm, and most importantly, more deeply connected to your inner power.
2) Spending time in nature. The natural world is ripe with power! Let me ask you a question. Do you know why people hug trees? Although I don't go around hugging trees in public parks people do this for a very simple reason. All living things emit an energy field, a “life force,” – even those dull plants that just sit there.
If you’re sensitive enough (and it's just a matter of practice), you can learn to feel this subtle energy when you get close enough. And trees just like plants also have the same soothing qualities.
However, if hugging trees is not your cup of tea, that's okay too - nature can simply be experienced by being present.
Simply sitting or walking through a natural setting frequently will dramatically rejuvenate your spirit… and give you a vitamin boost.
When you shed the distractions of civilization and step into the ripe power of nature, you will be more at east, relaxed, calm — and you'll be more in touch to your intuitive self… inspiration… creative nudges… spring out more easily, it's just a great place to be.
Start doing these two things and you'll discover the most amazing things… you'll feel better… you won't be as stressed as you used to be… you'll be more creative… life will be much more pleasant… and you'll wonder how you did without it!
