Why You're Always Right: The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind

unconscious-mind.jpgNo. I'm not talking about indignant righteousness that usually happens when you have to be right because you can't stand losing an argument and want to stand your ground (hey it happens to the best of us).

I'm talking about something profoundly powerful… (please refer to the title)

You see, the job of our subconscious mind is to obey the directions of what the conscious mind repeatedly thinks of. All of this runs in the back-burner of what we are conscious but anything we think of, with repetition and with belief is ultimately accepted as being true by our subsconsious.

What we think about becomes manifest in our reality because the job of the subconscious is to create evidence (if you will) in our reality that validates everything that you repeatedly think consciously of… whether or not this is what you want for yourself.

To put it another way: our unconscious mind is here to provide unremitting, and unwavering proof that our conscious mind is never wrong, and always right.

What happens is, the unconscious mind creates/attracts (call it what you will) the situations and conditions, locates all the 'right' people, to prove that whatever you believe - bad or good - is right.

For example: If you think the world is a miserable place where the wicked get ahead and the good-hearted person is always tromped down - then that's just the evidence you'll get.

On the other hand, if you think you are safe and secure and the solutions to all your perceived problems will make themselves apparent to you in due time, then that is precisely the way your world will be as well - just like a mirror reflecting back.

Such is the magnificent power of our minds.

Now before you think I'm spouting some sort of 'hocus-pocus' here, rest assured, the unconscious mind doesn't SHAPE the world, so much as it filters it for our individual perception. The world you want is already out there. It's just the world you already believe you live that's keeping you from it. Believe in a different world for yourself, and your unconscious mind will reveal everything in your path to keep proving you right.

Feelings of powerlessness usually stem from ourselves… and that is a refusal to believe that you already possess everything you need to have everything you wanted.

Failure to recognize, accept, and believe that your ideas create your reality leads to feelings of helplessness and despair. As a result of feeling out of control and lack the ability to impact change in your own life… you resort to victim behaviors: at the whim of other people and of circumstance.

In this state of powerlessness, you're inclined to look outside yourself for answers, and for the fulfillment of your desires. But the answers aren't out there, nor are the means to your every desire's fulfillment.

No… they're in you - and you alone.

Henry Ford, one of the greatest men in history without whom we might still be going to work on bycicles. said this:

"If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right. " -Henry Ford

That's profound. This is why… you are ALWAYS right; whether you tell yourself you 'Can' or you 'Can't', you are right. Your subconscious does no thinking on its own; it thinks only what you have given it to think and what you've thought before.

Your unconscious draws to you those very things most consistent with your predominant thoughts, including (and especially) beliefs about things you 'Can' and 'Can't' have and do.

The power to turn your life around is to recognize that you've already been creating your life as it is has been all along. Now it's just time to change what you're creating by shifting the quality of your thinking.
